Poem by Emily Dickinson

Much Madness is divinest Sense--
To a discerning Eye--
Much Sense--the starkest Madness--
'Tis the Majority
In this, as All, prevail--
Assent--and you are sane--
Demur--you're straightway dangerous--
And handle with a Chain--

Using the definitions to conclude the meaning of this poem...
In madness a person can find an unusually lovely sanity when using a discerning eye. With this great amount of unusually lovely sanity gained through complete madness. If you yield to the madness you will find the sanity in it. If you linger in the madness you become dangerous...and will eventually need restrained for your safety and that safety of others.
